SECTION B: COMPANY ACTIVITIES
Activities
• Establish and maintain retreat centres, (owned by its members) for various courses
• Establish and operate a Yoga resources network
• Operate and maintain various internet-based facilities
How will the activity benefit the community?
The (YOGA) community will benefit by:-
• Enabling individuals to gain more experience of Yoga and meditation
• Supporting diversity and originality in Yoga resources through collaboration and shared services
between providers with a common, shared sentiment
• Bringing like-minded people together through a community services portal site.
• A shop will supply predominantly fair trade and ecological products and services.
• Visitors will have access to an extensive range of information and guidance on Yoga, including
retreats and courses and members will be provided with access to a range of extra services
Our company differs from a general commercial company because we are committed to encouraging the practice of all traditions of Yoga. We operate under an environmental and ethical procurement policy which restricts our choice of suppliers whereas other companies freely exploit the market for profit.
If the company makes any surplus it will be used primarily for developing the companies activities as set out in this declaration. If funds are not required immediately, (short term) for any of these purposes then a reserve account will be set up for any proposed future application or transfer of funds for the same, or similar acrtivities.
