The continued rise in the popularity of Yoga has lead to increased commercialisation and mass manufacture of Yoga mats, equipment and other products to satisfy the demand.

Our society is one where people are used to just throwing things away - just because they don't appeal to us any more, or we don't use them anymore because something new has just arrived on the market.

Now, with your help, the RecycleYourMat Marketplace provides a solution to the amount of Yoga equipment, books, clothes and accessories and related items that have been accumulated over the years !

So, whats the point of the MarketPlaceEurope/RymaUk section ?

It supports Yogis that are concerned by the ever increasing ecological issues surrounding the manufacture, use and disposal of Yoga products.

Many Yoga products have been designed to last for many years and can be used again and again, for a long time - without any health or safety risks, and many Yogis value the wisdom of re-using old Yoga products, especially those that can be safely re-conditioned through simple laundering.

Yogis value the importance of individual responsibility, the need for free Yoga equipment in many areas of the world and a desire to be environmentally friendly.

This section helps to protect the environment by enabling individuals and groups to re-use their old Yoga stuff when the original equipment manufacturers and commercial suppliers are not able or willing to offer any such support or facilities.

As well as private listings for Yoga mats, you may also find unwanted yoga books, videos for onward distribution for educational purposes, and some Yoga products from manufacturers, e.g. ex-commercial samples, end of line goods, and other ex-factory products.
