YOGAWAVES

Home About Clients DEMO site

What is YogaWaves all about ? What is going on here ?

At the moment, all you will see is just a series of pages with a link to a preview site hosted by Google. There is a lot of systems development work going on behind the scenes, but most people are just not interested in all the nuts and bolts so we have left all the chunky bits out.

If you want to find out more, or test drive the new technology for yourself then register at the DEMO SITE (hosted by Google).

YogaWaves is being built with new WEB 2.0 technology that enables anyone to communicate and work together with formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more - and most of this is expected to be free to use - we are still working on the economics of it - but it will certainly be no more onerous than a not-just-profit business model.

So, what can I expect to get from from YogaWaves ? - I mean what is the point ?

This new technology will help everyone in the yoga community communicate and collaborate directly on the web. It will help facilitate interactive information sharing and collaboration. It will allow users to interact with other users and to change website content. This is in stark contrast to the normal, non-interactive Yoga websites where users are limited to passive viewing of information that is provided to them, and regulated by the provider.

When will YogaWaves be ready ?

We are developing this system to accomodate a very new, open community oriented site based on the DEMO SITE for (almost) all our online operations this year. Basic service functionalty is expected to be offered around April 2010.

Initial setup and testing of the hosting platform has already been completed and both server and client testing is already underway.
